The Alleghany Highlands Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at the recently renovated Shentel office at 370 W. Main Street, Covington. Shentel invested $150,000 to renovate the property which is on the National Register of Historic Places. The store features an expanded 400 square-foot showroom, a new service counter desk and improved office space.
