The Alleghany Railroad Heritage Festival is a day long celebration of the region's railroad heritage and National Train day to be held at the C&O Railway Heritage Center in Clifton Forge, Virginia, Saturday, May 8, 2010. Highlights of the day will be a railroad folk song concert, live steam train rides, regional rail heritage site booths, model trains of all scales, a caboose pull competition, railroad slideshows and movies, great food and lots of fun for all ages.
